The Favored Fifteen

Just wanted to post a photo of the fifteen Bishops, His Grace Archbishop Burke among them, who met with the Pope and Cardinal Bertone to receive the Motu Proprio. Thought you might like to see it. Photo comes from Cardinal O'Malley's blog, with a tip to New Liturgical Movement.
In the picture, from left to right: Burke, Bagnasco, Koch, Dziwisz, Bertone, Engone, the Pope, O'Malley,Castrillón, Ruini, Toppo, Ricard, Pell, Arinze, and Murphy O'Connor.

What does this say for Archbishop Burke? One of only two bishops from the USA invited and not even a Cardinal like most of the rest! I think it speaks highly of this promotion and love of the Tridentine Liturgy. All, I can say is that I am honored to live in his archdiocese. What a great bishop we have in His Grace! Every diocese should be so fortunate to have such a leader. We should all say a prayer for his continued good health.

A cardinal has a blog...?! (Somehow this surprises me.)

What happened to Cardinal Lehman of Germany? He was supposed to be there. Looks like he got a little scared.
