Although I haven't seen my print copy yet, I was underwhelmed by the Review's coverage of this event in the online "article". Thanks to SLC, ROTW, KCC, and NLM!

You're certainly welcome. It has been great fun on my end.

dulac, I understand your underwhelmedness-- it was nice of the review to cover it, and thus I am grateful. Some of the phrasing or length or placement of the stories were not as much as I hoped. Still, I choose to accentuate the positive. IF someone was trying to minimize it (and I am not saying anyone did)then it must have galled them to cover it at all. So, life is good.

There was WAY more than 800 people at that mass...that is a preposterous estimate.

I agree, that was ludicrous. The absence of a story-- and the print edition had only one, ONE photo, with a caption that contained two errors of easily verifiable fact-- was extremely disappointing. They even said Fr. Avis was to be assigned elsewhere-- he isn't, he is assigned to de Sales. Easily checked. Anything to suppress interest in the traditional Mass, I guess. But hey, there was a half page story on parishioners donating by electronic funds transfer, though.

And to think that someone at the Review got paid to (almost) cover it and the rest of us lost money in the endeavor, but did a better job.
