euxic-congress.jpgArchbishop Raymond L. Burke is inviting the faithful of the Archdiocese of St. Louis to join him on a June 16-23 pilgrimage to Montreal and Quebec City, Canada, for the 49th International Eucharistic Congress.

The St. Louis contingent would depart on June 16 and spend two days in Montreal, where they will visit the Saint Joseph Oratory, one of the most revered sites in the world dedicated to Saint Joseph, the patron of the universal Church. Pilgrims would also attend Mass at the tomb of Blessed Kateri Tekakwitha, the Lily of the Mohawks.

The June 19-22 segment of the trip will be spent in Quebec City and will include attendance at sessions of the Eucharistic Congress. Participation at the congress also includes Mass, Eucharistic Adoration, and devotions. Pope Benedict XVI has been invited to participate and would preside at the closing Mass on June 22. Pilgrims will return to St. Louis on June 23.

The cost of the pilgrimage, based on double occupancy, is $2,690 per person, with a single supplement available for a $790 surcharge. The cost includes round-trip airfare from St. Louis, seven nights of hotel accommodations, and daily breakfast, as well as one lunch and four dinners. In addition, there is a $230 non-refundable registration fee for the Eucharistic Congress. Those going on the trip will need a passport.
