Interesting Item in from the Minutes of the St. Stan's Board Meeting

The former St. Stanislaus parish Board of Directors have posted a copy of meeting minutes on the St. Stan's website.  The latest meeting for which minutes were posted was September 11, 2007.  In those minutes appear two interesting items, which I reproduce here verbatim:

7/6 FMB requested BOD decision on married priests.  7/10 BOD has discussed and will look into all options before a determination is made.  BOD Action. 9/11 BOD will take action.  BB action

______________________

9/11 FBM (sic) requested to speak with BOD on future direction of parish and his role.  9/11 lively discussion concerning merits of FMB position, the direction of the parish and that of the BOD.  BOD will investigate and take action concerning  FMB request for assistant priest.  9/20. Met with candidate and reported finings (sic) to the BOD. RAZ Action. Action Ccosed(sic)

Note:  according to the minutes, FBM = Fr. Marek Bozek; BOD = Board of Directors; RAZ = Robert A. Zabielski

I make no comment about the import of these entries.  I do wonder what's cooking at St. Stan's these days...

Why should your care about this group? Instead of channeling your anger about this group wouldn't it be more "Christ Like" to pray for their salvation. Maybe these people are best left to worship as they please.

If you wish to offer criticism, today you can focus on those dissenter’s of Archbishop Braxton. The divine authority this man and the Holy Church is constantly bringing his actions into question. He should rule and he wishes and all others should serve. It is the way of the Church and established by Christ.

Love and peace to all brothers and sisters.

Francis, I can't say that I understand the bulk of your comment, but rest assured I am not "angry" at the St. Stan's board. I disagree with them. Please don't equate the two. As for Father Bozek, his pastoral leadership has brought the former parish exactly what it could. It is reaping the whirlwind.
