New Website to Coordinate the Fight Against UN Treaty that would Violate Parental Rights

For a few years the Home School Legal Defense Association has been trying to make known the threat to parental rights that is the UN International Rights of the Child Treaty.  Thanks to Hillary and Bill, the US is a signatory, but the treaty so far has not been able to be ratified by the US Senate.  That doesn't mean the danger is past; in fact, any future administration can send it back to the Senate for ratification.

The treaty would supersede the laws of the US and of any state concerning things like homeschooling.  If the government believes that homeschooling is not best for the child, you can't do it.  It's that simple.  The government would be able to dictate the curriculum for your child if it did let you homeschool.  So, you can forget about imparting your weird religious beliefs to them. Or your weird and intolerant beliefs about the sanctity of marriage or the sanctity of life.

The website is located at www.parentalrights.org.  Check it out.

Remember Timman,

Religious Education works best when people are not "That serious about their faith"

Christoper, that's right. The UN guarantees your freedom to pass on a tepid and half-hearted faith to your children, as long as they have time to read and assimilate the other materials the UN wishes.
