...it can be tough to blog. I am as eager as anyone for some updates on the immediate aftermath of the Lears/Kleba appearances and latest Bozek foolishness, but I have had a crush of work to finish. I'll update things when I can.
In the meantime, with Lent approaching, enjoy this blast from the past.

I have a few comments for you...
1 - I would love to see you show some Christ-like compassion, regardless of Canon law being broken or not.
2 - Do you have anything more important than creating a hateful witchhunt after a wonderfully loving compassionate women?
Why do people believe that your wanting to save souls isn't "Christ-like compassion?"
My question to the above poster would be, do you believe in heaven and hell? If so, how do you believe one attains heaven, or, conversely, is damned to hell?
First anon, as to your two questions:
1. Christ told the woman caught in adultery "Go, and sin no more." He didn't say, "I accept you as you are, do whatever you like. And hey, do you want to be a Priest?"
2. No-- if by "hateful witchhunt" you mean supporting the Archbishop who seeks to pastorally correct a public dissenter from the faith in the hopes of converting her and protecting his flock from confusion and error; and, no--if by "a wonderfully loving compassionate wom[a]n" you mean one who seeks to undermine an infallible teaching of the Church to which she claims to belong.
Hope this answer helps.
Neither response does help as neither response answers the question regarding the lack of compassion shown from the archbishop. I am fully confident that the archbishop is correct on any Canon law issue. I would never argue that. My issue is with the person(s) who runs this blog. They run with mistruths regarding Lears and the St. Cronan's community to prove themselves correct. They paint her out to be an evil woman and the Cronan's community to be selfish and lacking knowledge in scripture and the Church. If you knew anything about either Louise or the St. Cronan's community you would clearly still disagree with both, but you would not be able to deny their love and compassion nor their knowledge of scripture and the Church!
It is clearly the work of the Church leaders to guide the lost back to the flock. It is also their job to do it with compassion not condemnation. So, to this blogger, I invite you with love and compassion back to the flock. Christ would NEVER respond with the spitefullness and immaturity that you have.
Jesus told his apostles that they should remonstrate with persons who go astray from right conduct. If they will not listen to private counsel, then Jesus said, "[t]ell the Church. And if he will not hear the Church, let him be to thee as the heathen and the publican. Amen I say to you, whatsoever you shall bind upon earth, shall also be bound in heaven: and whatsoever you shall loose upon earth, shall be loosed also in heaven." Mt. 18:17-18.
That is the advice of Christ. That is the advice that our beloved Archbishop is following. That IS the compassionate response-- to call back the erring to the Church of Christ: the Way, Truth and the Life. It is not compassionate to do as you advise, which is to confirm your sister in sin and error.
I have never said she was evil, as you well know. I have no knowledge of the state of her soul, and make no judgements about it. I do know that the public positions and actions of this person are contrary to the truth of the faith, the teaching of Christ, and are against the express directives of her Bishop. And these are the objective facts that form the substance of my blog posts about her.
You say you don't doubt the Archbishop is right about the canon law violations. Isn't that good enough for you to see that she needs to get her head on straight? Whose Church made those laws? Did Christ give His Church authority or not?
To ask these questions to a Catholic is to answer them.
