I wanted to post quickly on the subject of comments. I enabled comment moderation on them about 8 months ago, due to some libelous comments that stayed up on the blog for a few days due to my busy schedule causing me not to immediately notice them, back when the honor code prevailed.
In any event, I have no problem allowing any comment that disagrees with me. No problem. Only two things will get a comment rejected: 1)profanity and inappropriate language (definition: if Beaver Cleaver would have his mouth washed out with soap for it, you shouldn't write it); and, 2) lies, slander, libel, or other calumny against anyone (including accusations of serious evil for which you provide no corroboration), or detraction against non-public persons when such information does not fall under any moral exception to detraction.
There you have it. I appreciate all the interest you have shown in the blog, and all of your comments, whether I agree with them or not.

But surely no comments by known Methodists will be allowed, will they?
I am so glad that they are excommunicated, as they should be. They can go to some other church or religion that doesn't care if women pretend to be priests. Go be a Protestant, for example.
