The fruits of Summorum Pontificum continue to come in. Below is an email sent, via a reader, about a regular TLM in Starkenburg, MO, beginning Sunday, March 9 at 10:30 am.
I am happy to report that the next issue of the Catholic Missouri will announce that the regular Sunday celebrations of the extraordinary form, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Martin's in Starkenburg, will begin on March 9th. Please spread the word.
In addition, plans are in the works for regular Saturday celebrations, at 9:00 a.m. at the Carmelite monastery in Jefferson City. Please continue to pray for us as we finalize these plans.

Saint Martin's is one of the finest small churches in the area, in my opinion, and is next door to the Shrine of Our Lady of Sorrows, which is another wonderful little church.
I would recommend a pilgrimage!
WAIT! I receive the said newspaper, and saw the article on the back page. I also have a copy of the said email....
The article in the newspaper I found out after asking, the publisher of said newspaper wanted the staff to "not make much of it" thats why it appeared on the back page. The priest in the article is the priest who will be celebrating the Mass in Starkenburg. Father Dowling.
The priest in the email that mentions the Monastery Mass is quite different. Out of respect and protection for him I will not mention his name.
I say that due to the Catholic Missourian failed to point out the Monastery Mass. I assume the publisher when he said "make light of it" thats just what he ment.
Please pray for the Diocese of Jefferson City. Their bishop is still trying to stamp out the Extraordinary Form.
Thanks, I have fixed the reference to the priest-author of the email.
I saw the article and it makes you think this is a ONE TIME deal in Starkenburg. Not a every Sunday thing.
My Diocese leadership and its newspaper need major help.
Trust me its 1970 here in Jefferson City diocese. The Catholic Church here looks more like pagan worship than Roman.
I don't want to fall into sin, so I will say no more about that. Buts its true.....
I hope you get my point we NEED your prayers. Please pray that we get a good and faithful bishop. And a newspaper that is Catholic.
Does anyone know if there still is a Latin Mass at St Martins? A quick web search shows that they do the 2nd and 4th Sundays, but I am not sure how accurate that is. I could not find any contact info or a website.
