George Raphy

STLToday has a geography quiz here. See if you're smarter than a homeschooled fifth grader.

I'll be honest, I misplaced Afghanistan on the map. Guess I'm not as smart as I pretend to be.

I'm a human atlas. Does that mean I hold the world on my shoulders...they have been sore lately. Did you notice the end? I took a screen shot but it won't go into the combox. One of your options is to take the scary movie quiz. Any bets on how many teenagers get those right?

So, if I'm really bad at this, do you think it's still OK for me to homeschool my children?!?!?!?

Fr. Andrew,

I took the scary movie quiz, and even though I have never seen any of the movies (I hate horror films) I got 8 out of 10, just trying to think like a teenager.

I don't know what that means.

cmziall, no.

Just kidding. Use a teacher's guide like any other teacher.

As a product of an proponent of the public schools, I'm happy to say . . . 100%. How did your offspring do?

Well, methodist jim, my children all scored 125%, including the two-year old. They received extra credit for being able to give the state motto and bird for New York, a free-hand drawing of Europe after the Congress of Vienna, and also for cleaning the house, making stock trades, and getting me drinks.

Don't your children do this?

Oh, STOP! LOL! Timman, we know your children are "intelligent" you don't need to keep reminding us! :-p :o)
