A slight earthquake along the New Madrid fault struck in Arkansas just south of the Missouri bootheel this morning.Seismologists reported this morning that a 2.8 magnitude earthquake struck along the fault at 3:40 a.m.No damage or injuries resulted from the quake that has become common along the New Madrid fault line, authorities said.
