Wednesday Town Catholic Anti-Talk

As my brother would say.  Or Anti-Catholic Town Talk Wednesday for the rest of us.

The orators at Town Talk must have been reading this blog in the last few weeks-- this week's entry:

Town Talk not anti-Catholic

Kudos to the Journals in the April 30 Town Talk.  "Anti-Catholic Town Talk" was the header.  Your editors note wasn't exactly correct as it was the week before.  The first Town Talker did not call Archbishop Burke a Nazi.  To equate that with anti-Catholicism is absolutely ludicrous.  As a matter of fact, most people who are anti-Burke are not anti-Catholic.  I personally call him Crazy Ray.  That doesn't make me anti-Catholic.  After all, he has his own opinions, naturally, about Rev. Bozek and especially the ordination of women.  But when he sees St. Stanislaus' property he does not see in his eyes a cross of Jesus; he sees a dollar sign period.  That is anti-Burke.  That is not anti-Roman Catholic Church.

_______________

I have absolutely no idea what to say to this.  Not calling Archbishop Burke a Nazi was equated to anti-Catholicism?  And is this person a mind reader?  He knows what the Archbishop sees "in his eyes" when he looks at St. Stanislaus' property?  What is a dollar sign period?  Is that what Picasso had after the blue period?

Oh yeah, one more thing, buddy.  I think most people who are "anti-Burke" are probably anti-Catholic.  After all, I have my own opinions, naturally.
