Sources confirmed today that the Archdiocese will call a press conference today at 3:30pm to announce that the Archdiocese and those current and former St. Stan's Board Members opposed to Fr. Bozek have filed a lawsuit in state court against St. Stan's seeking a temporary injunction against the formerly Catholic parish--this would seek to undo the changes to the bylaws enacted since 2001 and thus would have the effect of preventing the planned elections of a replacement Board in August. Furthermore, the Archdiocese is seeking the right to appoint a new parish administrator.
Information about the case, Bernice Krauze et al. v. Polish Roman Catholic St. Stanislaus Parish, is available at the court's website. Included in the list of plaintiffs are current and former Board Members, other parishioners, as well as the Most Reverend Robert J. Hermann, Archdiocesan Administrator.
Also expected to be announced at the press conference is the news that four St. Stanislaus Board Members have now been reconciled with the Church. They are, in addition to Ed Florek (previously announced), Bernice Krauze, Stanley Rozanski, and Robert Zabielski.

The St. Louis Archdiocese filed suit today against the St. Stanislaus Kostka church in an attempt to regain control of the former Polish parish.
Six parishioners, including three recent board members, joined the archdiocese in the suit. They are asking a St. Louis judge to void any changes to the St. Stanislaus' bylaws since 2001 and give the archbishop the authority to appoint a pastor and board there.
Last month, the St. Stanislaus board voted 4-3 to dissolve itself and allow parishioners to elect a new board at its annual meeting in August. Eight St. Stanislaus board members had been declared excommunicated by Archbishop Raymond Burke.
According to the archdiocese, the three board members who lost that vote - Bernice Krauze, Stanley Rozanski, and Robert Zabielski - were secretly reconciled with the Roman Catholic church last month in a meeting with Burke before Pope Benedict XVI re-assigned him to a new position at the Vatican.
Last month, Edward Florek, a former board member, also reconciled with the church.
The archdiocese’s release said that if the lawsuit is successful, it "is prepared to appoint a Catholic priest, Rev. Michael Marchlewski, SJ, to St. Stanislaus as administrator."

I hope that while he was in Milwaukee Fr. Bozek thought to pass his resume around. Oh, by the way I just found this notice in the "Wanted" section of the National Catholic Reporter.

I hope that while he was in Milwaukee Fr. Bozek thought to pass his resume around.
And why, pray tell, are you wishing such a terrible thing upon us Wisconsinites????
Wasn't it bad enough for us when you took our Bishop?
God is merciful indeed!!
He has taken this horrible ordeal and through it will bring these people back home. Hopefully the Holy Spirit will help the parishoners see how far Bozek has led them away from the Truth.
Of course...after this is said and done, I think they will have to re-dedicate the Altar (or at least perform an exorcism there) - Lord knows who Bozek had concelebrate [they probably used a Odeja board too]
I hereby apologize to the Catholic Mother whose honest and brave sobriquet is "milkingmommy".
I hereby apologize for wishing Bozek on the wonderful cheeseheads.
Furthermore, I want to say, while I am not a fan of political correctness I believe it is ALWAYS correct to obey one's Mother. That goes both for obeying our milking mommies (to whom we men often owe our Faith), and our Mother the Church who guides and protects us all.
Both you and your child have my humble apology.
St. Guy
P.S. Is it okay if I wish that Marek will end up having to send his resume to Polond?
Timman,
Me thinks you have the wrong Stanislaus picture posted. You have the picture of St. Stanilsua the Bishop. St. Stanislaus Kostka was a Jesuit seminarian when he died.
Thank you anon, I am duly corrected, and the picture has been changed via the magic of the internet.
God bless.
Dear St. Guy,
Thank you for your apology.
However, I must correct the idea of it for my handle is not due to any bravery on my part ~ but to the fact that I used to milk our family cow (to which I have developed an allergy). So you see, your handle, which raises Guy Fawkes to the altars is much braver than anything I have come up with! I am sorry for the confusion.
Whatever the case of names, my children ~ all 10 of them ~ and I appreciate your kindness. :oD

Dear Milkingmommy,
If you are raising ten children you are the saint. God bless you.
St. Guy.
Please, St. Guy, do not give me accolades which I have not earned. I am only a mom trying to work out her salvation in fear and trembling. God has blessed me greatly and I am thankful ~ and fearful ~ for the gift.
I will ask instead that you pray for me and mine so that we may do God's will and hopefully earn that crown.
Some may feel squeamish about eating it, but rabbit has a fan base that grows as cooks discover how easy they are to raise — and how good the meat tastes.
