Advice to Would-Be Religious Leaders: Don't Call Your Headquarters a "Compound"

Colleen Hammond's blog first carried this story, but reading it confirmed what I have thought for some time now-- if you want to lead any kind of religious movement, DO NOT call your base a compound. Don't let the media call it a compound. Heck, don't treat your warts with Compound W.

And, you can see that it takes only a bit of suspicion to raid your 'compound'.
