I was at the March For Life in DC today, and shortly before the actual march began, I couldn't help but notice a giant Institute of Christ the King banner a short distance away. I couldn't help myself: I went over to inquire. There's only one ICK oratory on the entire East Coast, after all. If they came from anywhere else, they came a very long way.

Turns out they were indeed from the West Orange NJ oratory.

"How many did you bring with you today?"

"49."

The Institute never ceases to impress.

As does the March. There's something stirring about looking down Constitution Avenue from the Hill and seeing the avenue packed with nothing but hundreds of thousands of pro-lifers as far as the eye can see.

Pray for life.

The person holding that banner was my Brother-in-law. He drove from Boston to New Jersey with his wife and 10 children to go on the bus ride with the West Orange group.

Weren't there other buses and groups going from Boston you may ask? Yes of course, however the Institute's very real example given by living their motto; "Veritatem facientes in caritate" touches the minds and hearts of the people whom they meet, even from far away.

Yes, they never cease to amaze and impress, we owe them a tremendous debt of gratitude which we can repay with our prayers and support.
