I have this image on an umbrella I bought in Florence on our H-moon. The umbrella, as they all do, is no longer in good working order, but I can't part with it 9 years later.
Those cherub have bare shoulders.

When I opened to your page just now, a little child was standing nearby and I heard a gasp and a "don't look - those angels are immodest!" I hope your happy.

Is that a SHOULDER I see?!?! These angels have no respect for the Church's teaching on modesty! Are they even wearing anything below their neckline? I think not. My dog took one look at this post and died. I hope you're happy.

My. I hope they don't visit the pope like that.
Most people wouldn't think that these pug nosed ugly chubby cherubs were being provocative. The glib comparisons to the naked guitar haired model were not dealing with the same subject matter at all.
And Catholics are not the only people who realize that modesty is important. Anybody who wants to honor and obey the 10 Commandments will dress modestly and have their children do so.
