Meatless Friday Sunday, Part IV



Thanks to the reader who emailed this pretty amazing piece of performance art aired on a Ukrainian talent show. Russian propaganda has always been a specialty, and the World War II collective consciousness is shown by the reaction of the audience.

I can't believe I watched all seven minutes. Then again, I was curious as to the medium she was using- sand?- and also trying to identify the music. Much to my shame I recognized a orchestrated version of Metallica's "Nothing Else Matters" for the final scene with mother, father, and child.

Incidentally, did you notice everyone's reaction of joy to the presence of life/children? The one in the play pen at the beginning as well as the one at the end. The evidential power of the beauty of life.

On to Sunday night holy hour and Compline.
