Kansas Catholic has a series of posts, and great pictures to accompany each-- on the recent investiture and vows of the Benedictines of Mary, Queen of Apostles at Old St. Patrick Oratory in Kansas City. Bishop Finn pontificated, and was assisted by diocesan priests (including at least one St. Louis Archdiocesan priest, if my eyes don't deceive me) and Canon Avis and Abbe Templin of the ICRSP. Check them out.

Missouri is indeed blessed to have two such vibrant, growing, young traditional Catholic communities of sisters, with the Benedictines of Mary in KC, and the Adorers of the Royal Heart of Jesus Christ Sovereign Priest in St. Louis. It is a testimony to the vibrancy of Catholic tradition and stout episcopal leadership.

And now we need a traditional order of nuns in the Springfield/Cape Girardeau diocese.
