Sorry, sorry, sorry-- the time of the Extraordinary Form Mass at St. Angela Merici is M-F at 6:30 AM, not PM.
6:30 a.m.
Thanks to the reader who pointed this out. I have corrected the original post.

Dear Timman, I know you thought the picture was funny, but frankly, I am getting tired of the old steriotyping of nuns being kept alive, even by conservative Catholics. We all moan and groan that there are a lack of Sisters in the schools, and elsewhere. Why would a young lady considering joining something that is constantly put down and degraded? Thanks.

Actually, I don't have a problem with nuns with rulers enforcing class discipline, so for me it isn't an attempt to make fun.
But I appreciate your larger point.
Thank you for your reply, Mr. Timman.
Also, I should have "proof-read" my note before sending it to you - the grammar in the last sentence was terrible. So sorry!
I do enjoy your blog.
Sincerely,
Vicki Double
No problem, and if you want a very beautiful picture of a nun, I can oblige you with my next post.
