Meatless Friday Thursday: Churchill as the Midwife of Modernism

Other than Lincoln, there is perhaps no leader so unjustly glamorized as Winston Churchill. He is the patron anti-saint of the modern warfare and welfare state. Like most everyone raised after World War II, I bought the established version all my life. For another perspective,
