Some Quick Photos from the Institute's Youth Choir Camp

Thanks to reader CP, I have these photos taken on the fly at the Institute of Christ the King Sovereign Priest's Youth Choir Camp, currently taking place at the Ursuline Motherhouse near Owensboro Kentucky. The children, ages 10-17, are receiving excellent instruction in the art of sacred music and are having fun, too.
They are playing, taking classes in instrumental and vocal music, music theory, Latin, are singing the office, and will also sing at the closing Mass tomorrow.
I would have posted these sooner had I been more technologically astute.

Shots from workshops for boys and girls:

Don't mess with the counselors!

Thanks for the pics---we were wondering what all the fun was looking like there in the hills of central Kentucky.
I heard they had a campfire, roasted marshmallows and prayed
a campfire rosary, and had a huge water balloon battle. The food is good, (eggs and bacon for bkfst).
The counselors are tired by now.it was so perfect I wonder if it could EVER be duplicated again.

Hope so!

Tomorrow at noon is the final mass in the chapel.Canon W is going tonight to get ready for the solemn high mass with music learned during the camp days.

Deo gratias! May this be the beginning of a revival of Gregorian chant that will spread across our nation and the world beyond, burning through the falsehoods of our time and attuning souls to the mind of God.
