And the Home of the (B)rave

I can only repeat the intro to this video from LewRockwell.com:

I don’t think any comment is really necessary here. This may be, as Jeff Shipley says, the greatest speech of our generation. Words cannot do it justice.

Oh my Gosh! What a riot. I kept picturing Will Ferrell doing this routine. I bet some folks actually took this guy seriously.

His campaign headquarters are located in a VAN DOWN BY THE RIVER!

Somebody please make sure that the Star County Treasurer doesn't have access to the nuclear codes.

There is someone who is married to this man. Put her in your prayers.

I like X's comparison of this guy to Chris Farley's motivational speaker who lives "in a van down by the river."

"Now is the time to seize this opportunity with an aggressive campaign, and an even more aggressive campaigner."

Check and check.

I was almost in tears within 30's seconds I was laughing so hard. Can you imagine being in that room? One thing is for certain: I would not have wanted to be the one caught laughing.

I don't blame him for his, shall we say excess excitement or passion. I'm sure Star County is in a mess, just like our economy is at this point. I don't think he should have calmed down so rapidly though - it started to then lull me to sleep. . .

Wow. He becomes emotional much too soon. Communication Masters? Work on the memorization and take away the coffee.
Exactly WHERE was the CLIMAX of this speech? It was all climax!
Yes, he does sound like Chris Farley!

Right up there with Peter Finch's rant in Network... a real-life Howard Beale. No doubt he appeals to a far greater number of people in today's political climate.

Yee Haa ... giddy yup, Howard!
