Kurosawa Prescient

Thanks again to Lew Rockwell, this clip of the great Akira Kurosawa's "Dreams" hits the mark. Worth watching-- but I'd watch it without the children.

Haunting. Learned about Strontium-90 in high school chemistry from Doc Medeck, my brother and I's favorite teacher. He referred to it as "deadly deadly Strontium-90."

Our Lady of Akita, pray for them.

I agree. If my kids saw this they'd say, "Lame! Nice effects. Where's Godzira"

I love most of Kurosawa's works. Throne of Blood and Ikiru in particular. I haven't gotten "Dreams" yet. This segment of the film is interesting.
