dmw, If you are who I think you are, then you may remember another hilarious quote from the other German that night. Good times... even if there was no beer.
Is there any other way to celebrate the feast of St. Dominic then by going to Mass with friends (who also have a Dominic) followed by breakfast at IHOP? I have to say I'm very fond of the "old" people at IHOP. A table of of about 6 older gentlemen stopped to chat with us on their way out, and when our check arrived our waitress informed us that one of those gentlemen left us $20 to help cover the bill. God bless them for their kindness! Hope the bring-some-of-your-kids-to-work day is going well!
Didya notice how fast the discussion went from pancakes to beer--a new record. We have a new game in the works...6 degrees of beer or for the more refined player (that leaves JJR out--jk)...6 degrees of Chartreuse!

Was your IHOP visit as expensive as your last excursion to the movie theater?
Nope-- but I only had 4/9 of us.
Same greasy feeling, though.
Famous quote from Fr. Markus Pohl, circa summer 2006 said in the IHOP near Washington University:
"Zehr's no bier at zee IHOP?!"
That's why kids like IHOP. Lots of syrup, sugar, whipped cream and that bottomless plastic pitcher of caffeine.

Okay, I guess I need to do a comment preview before I hit post. I meant 'than' not 'then'. My grade school grammar teacher would not be pleased.
Just don't let JJR pour the beer!
