Meatless Friday Thursday: SLU Law Edition

I don't pretend to know what really happened in the resignation/firing of the SLU law school dean. STLToday has the story here and here. Just two quick takes:

1. Regardless of the rectitude of Fr. Biondi's position, if he weren't the liberal president of a not-terribly-Catholic Catholic school, you would definitely read about his dictatorial, rigid, autocratic, unreasonable decision.

2. The former dean had this to say:

"It is the ultimate irony that a Jesuit university would operate so far outside the bounds of common decency, collegiality, professionalism and integrity," Clark wrote.

Query: Dean Clark, have you followed ANY Jesuit news the last fifty years?
