“You are the ones who are happy; you who remain within the Church by your Faith, who hold firmly to the foundations of the Faith which has come down to you from Apostolic Tradition. And if an execrable jealousy has tried to shake it on a number of occasions, it has not succeeded. They are the ones who have broken away from it in the present crisis. No one, ever, will prevail against your Faith, beloved Brothers. And we believe that God will give us our churches back some day."
-- St. Athanasius

Traditionalists need to settle down already. Catholics are not fanatics. Homosexual civil unions are fine.
ROFL!!
We all need to settle down already.
While we're at it, let's admit that much of the not-settling-down is due to unspoken but profound disappoiontment over the failure of Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI to go further than Summorum Pontificum in aggressively rolling back the damage that has been done in the name of "the spirit of Vatican II".
Our new Holy Father makes a much easier target than a frail 85-year-old who, for reasons none of us can fully know, let his pontificate run its course without completing what so many thought would be his agenda.
