If You Don't Go to the Oratory for Mass this Sunday...

...then there's something wrong with you.

Sorry to be harsh, but there it is.

OK, I kid. But I kid because I love!

Solemn High Mass with Benediction at 10am. Reception to welcome back Canon Michael Wiener thereafter.

It's Michaelmas, for Pete's sake!

To review: you will be at the Oratory this Sunday, Michaelmas, September 29, at 10 am.

That is all.

I will be there ...I am so excited that our beloved Canon Wiener is back ...thanks be to God!
Now we have 3 wonderful Canon's to guide us and help us grow in holiness and become saints.
Thanks be to the good God for that, I need all the help and guidance I can get !

I'm very happy to see that Solemn High Masses seem to be very common on important feastdays in the US...and not only on the important feastdays!

We will be there in spirit; that's sure. Such a grand Michaelmas! May you have the best celebration ever and may St. Michael continue his guardianship over the Oratory. By the way, I love that mosaic of St. Michael over the gym door. Was just thinking about it today.

Those of us who know Canon Wiener from his celebrations of Mass at the Log Church of Holy Family Parish, Cahokia, share your great joy at his return.

I hope that he will be sure to rest up after what will undoubtedly be a very emotional morning!
