News from Rome: Too Serious a Matter to Laugh, Too Funny a Read to Cry

No link on this one, friends.  It really would feel like exposing Noah's nakedness.  I can only say that if you are on board with suffering as the surest way to save our own souls and to help the Church, then get ready to suffer.

Catholics who want to uphold the command of Our Lord Himself on the indissolubility of marriage, spoken ironically enough to the Pharisees, will suffer indeed.

The Pharisees have decided we are the Pharisees.

Oh, Timman, you need some cheering up. After the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass confected by True Catholic Priests, Rosaries, Confession, etc. if I'm still a little "blue" I turn to God's eggs & cheese...

THE
INCREDIBLE
EDIBLE
CATHOLIC
EGG

Incredible
Edible
Catholic egg
For you
I'd sell
An arm and a leg

Delighting rich
And simple
Folk
Hard-boiled
White
Around the yolk

Sometimes scrambled
Sometimes
Fried
Often next
To bacon's
Side

Spittering
Sputtering
Splashing grease
But into my life
You bring
Such peace
For after
Matins' morning
Prayer
I go to the
Fridge
And you are there

Always
Constant
Circled friend
No beginning
No big
End

Reminding me
When sick
Or well
You're always
There
Inside the shell

Ready to
Nourish
Ready to feed
Obeying God
Your dairy
Creed

And yes
You're Catholic
Incredible egg
For monks say
You're best...
With a St. Bernard’s keg!

MAN'S
BEST
FRIEND

A man's best friend,
If you please,
Is not a dog
But cheddar cheese.

A cheese whose taste
Runs sharp or mellow,
Why, cheese with beer
Can help a fellow!

And make him look,
Like a handsome hunk,
When he passes some
To a girl that's drunk

In the local pub,
If truth be told,
When the girls get silly
Then cheese is gold.

Where drafts of beer
Make you look better
As she gulps them down
With a side of cheddar!

Another Z blog for your consideration, all.

I am also a student of history, and that may be partly why I am not very concerned about the current goings-on.

DT- how 'bout those African Bishops? Maybe Europe is eager to reject Tradition, but from what I have read, Africa seems to be largely holding strong, especially for the SSPX.

Of course, their persecution is horrendous too.

Maybe we Westerners have it too easy?

My $0.02.

And, in case I forgot to include the Z link from before:

Thoughts?
