What doesn't Bob know?

You got that right! I love these Bob posts--keep it up, timman!

Catholic Intellectual Poet said...

What I especially love about Bob Dylan is how authentically Catholic he is. These evangelical conversion-era songs are great, but over time, as Bob clearly embraces deeper truths, his lyrics become more incarnational and fully Catholic. Truly a modern poet-evangelist, and one with deep Catholic sensibility.

God bless Bod Dylan.

I agree with the Intellectual Poet. In Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure, the running gag is that the music of Bill and Ted's excellent band, "Wyld Stallyns", will bring about universal peace and brotherhood. Well, with Bob, it's no joke-- if only people around the world would listen to Bob with an open heart, the Social Kingship of Christ would not be far behind.

After all, Bob's incredible talent is all God's gift-- to him, and to us all.

traddad,

How dare you insinuate some type of Hillary-style electronic rig?

For shame.

Absolutely! I reject traddad's meanspirited comment. I for one have had my life changed for the better thanks to thetimman's Bob Dylan posts. I used to have chronic fatigue syndrome, and now that's past. Also, do you remember the tsunami in Indonesia several years back? Well, since Saint Louis Catholic began its regular Bob posts, there have been no more tsunamis in Indonesia, that's a fact.
