Thanks for the Advice

The global warming-hoax anti-human losers are out in full force these days.  I read this great piece of drivel coming from merry old England, in the Times Online, while gazing out on my snowy yard in the wake of a nationwide winter storm:

Two children should be limit, says green guru

COUPLES who have more than two children are being “irresponsible” by creating an unbearable burden on the environment, the government’s green adviser has warned.

Jonathon Porritt, who chairs the government’s Sustainable Development Commission, says curbing population growth through contraception and abortion must be at the heart of policies to fight global warming. He says political leaders and green campaigners should stop dodging the issue of environmental harm caused by an expanding population.

A report by the commission, to be published next month, will say that governments must reduce population growth through better family planning.

“I am unapologetic about asking people to connect up their own responsibility for their total environmental footprint and how they decide to procreate and how many children they think are appropriate,” Porritt said.

“I think we will work our way towards a position that says that having more than two children is irresponsible. It is the ghost at the table. We have all these big issues that everybody is looking at and then you don’t really hear anyone say the “p” word.”

The Optimum Population Trust, a campaign group of which Porritt is a patron, says each baby born in Britain will, during his or her lifetime, burn carbon roughly equivalent to 2½ acres of old-growth oak woodland - an area the size of Trafalgar Square.

The British population, now 61m, will pass 70m by 2028, the Office for National Statistics says. The fertility rate for women born outside Britain is estimated to be 2.5, compared with 1.7 for those born here. The global population of 6.7 billion is expected to rise to 9.2 billion by 2050.

Porritt, who has two children, intends to persuade environmental pressure groups to make population a focus of campaigning.

“Many organisations think it is not part of their business. My mission with the Friends of the Earth and the Greenpeaces of this world is to say: ‘You are betraying the interests of your members by refusing to address population issues and you are doing it for the wrong reasons because you think it is too controversial,” he said.

Porritt, a former chairman of the Green party, says the government must improve family planning, even if it means shifting money from curing illness to increasing contraception and abortion.

He said: “We still have one of the highest rates of teenage pregnancies in Europe and we still have relatively high levels of pregnancies going to birth, often among women who are not convinced they want to become mothers.

"... who have more than two children are being “irresponsible"

I'm not "irresponsible",
I'm irresistible!!!

(an oldie but goodie of mine)

THE LITTLE BIGS

You can have a BIG house.
You can have a BIG car.
You can even have a great,
BIG, unjust war.

You can have a BIG dog.
You can have a BIG check.
You can even have a party
On a great BIG deck.

You can have a BIG trip.
You can have a BIG debt.
But there's one big BIG
That they hate, you bet!

A great BIG family
Full of great BIG hearts,
They're a silent rebuke
To the little BIG farts!

This coming from a country whose natives are ALREADY having much less than two children per family.

It is the typical mantra of the progressive environmentalist: Enough of me, way too many of you.

No, I say she hasn't gone far enough! I think that couples should have ZERO children! And the government should enforce it with death by guillotine. (Just to let the English reminisce).

And what about the animals? Now, I heard that cattle give out the most emissions. Let us kill all of the animals and bury them for fertilizer to grow the plants that all the old people left will have to eat.

Then, when the old people die, that is it, nothing left but trees and plants. Oh, a perfect earth! How green, how environmentally pure. Bliss**

Then, when they go to hell, they had better hope the devil takes complaints about over-population, and the increasing heat.

LMG. . you mean GLOBAL WARMING? ? ?

Hey, we are just making up for all those that don't choose to have their 2! It all evens out, right?

I agree that it is ludicrous to say that limiting one's children to 2 is hardly what fully impacts global warming. But I do hope you aren't suggesting that global warming doesn't exist? I'm no tree hugger but I think anyone can look at the environment and see the extreme climate changes that are taking place all over the world, especially in the artic, and see that something is impacting our world. Respect for the Earth that God has graciously given us, is part of being good stewards and I think, good Catholics.

Global warming is almost certainly a hoax, and man-made global warming is certainly a hoax, foisted on the West to undermine its way of life. Check out any post at Gateway Pundit on this issue. Here is one:

Use the search function on that blog and type global warming. Enjoy.

Child of God,

There is actually cooling taking place now, even in Antarctica. Ice caps are growing THICKER, not thinner as previously believed. there is a drop in temperature there of 0.4 degrees per decade from 1979-1999.

As good Catholics we must be very aware of the dangers of the KYOTO Treaty.. If Obama signs this treaty, that even liberal Clinton didn't sign, it will bankrupt America. It completely exempts large developing nations as China and Mexico.

It will cost each household $1,740 per year just in higher energy prices. Electricity up 86%, gas up 66 cents per gallon, natural gas up 147%. Rise in food costs of 9%, medial care 11%, and housing 19%. **

There will be job losses of an estimated 2 million, as industrial jobs will flee to developing countries who are exempt from this horrible treaty.

There are other ways of attacking the USA, besides with planes. Economic warfare can be more devastating, as is planned by Global Warming terrorists.
